99 Arizonans Selected for Catalyze Class 3
We have selected 99 Arizonans, including 5 high school students, to participate in our third Catalyze class. The program is held virtually with in-person activities and is designed to set participants up to take action on Arizona’s most pressing issues. This cohort represents leaders from across our great state as well as their diverse perspectives and various communities.
“Valley Leadership Catalyze was foundational to the development of many relationships across the State that have assisted in my personal and professional growth,” said Dana Flannery, Owner of DSF Consulting and Catalyze Class 2 graduate. “While many of us continue to work with the same groups of individuals across our expertise either locally or nationally, Catalyze presented such a unique opportunity to work and learn across all sectors impacting Arizonans.”
During the 6-month program, participants grow their connections to the people and issues that impact Arizona, while gaining new skills and experiences. By the end of the program, each participant leaves with a commitment and a plan for how to get more engaged in the community.
In fact, Catalyze Class 2 graduates represented leaders from 20 different cities across Arizona, all with unique strengths and issues to address. This cohort worked together, accumulating an impressive 3,010 learning hours, to address matters across our great state. In addition, 18 participants are now part of Impact Teams.
“At Valley Leadership, our goal is to empower a broad spectrum of Arizonans to lead in our many diverse communities,” said Koran Hardimon, Valley Leadership Board Chair and Institute Class 37 alumni. “It’s exciting to see that since our groundbreaking Ready Together program during COVID, we continue to see yet another class of 100 leaders who are ready to learn about our state’s issues and take action.”
