Valley Leadership recently welcomed for John Meza, the inspector general for the Arizona Department of Economic Security, to join its Board of Directors. Get to know the former Mesa Police chief and find out who inspires him, what he’s reading and what he’s looking forward to most this year.

As 2020 comes to a close, Valley Leadership’s Impact Maker – and the leaders and community organizations who power its work to strengthen Arizona – has had a busy year. To get into the holiday spirit, we’re looking back on the difference they’ve made and counting them down as 12 Days of Impact.

Sixteen Arizona youth completed Valley Leadership Youth program on Tuesday, April 27, 2016 and distributed over $8,000 to two different community organizations, Girls on the Run and the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN).
