Celebrating Black History Month

Today we celebrate Black History Month. Black History Month provides an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the rich history of the Black community and honor the achievements of Black individuals and their contributions to our global society. This month has always been more than just a moment of celebration. But, especially this year, it’s a turning point in how we listen, understand and act.

At Valley Leadership, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive. An environment where voices are celebrated, perspectives are heard, and contributions are valued. An environment that respects and embraces individual differences. 

As we continue our own journey, we will remain steadfast and intentional on our commitment to foster a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion that produces unique perspectives that will drive change for our community and provide thought leadership and action towards Arizona’s most pressing issues.

Defining Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
