Valley Leadership Welcomes New Board Leadership

We’re excited to announce that Koran Hardimon has been elected as Board Chair, Josh Shade as Vice Chair and Ginger Sykes Torres as Secretary! Meet our newest board leadership members.

Koran has been an active VL alumni since he graduated from Institute Class 37. Since then, he has helped develop the Racial Justice Impact Team, of which he is currently the Chair, and also been an active Board Member for the last two years. Outside of VL, Koran is the Vice President of Culture, Talent & Excellence at Resideo.

Josh Shade is an alumni of Institute Class 29. He has served two terms on the board, most recently as Treasurer. Outside of VL, Josh is the Senior Vice President of U.S. Bank.

Ginger Sykes Torres is an alumni of Ready Together and has served one term on the board. She is also the Chair of the Environmental Sustainability Impact Team. Outside of VL, Ginger is the State Executive Director for the United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency, Arizona.

Koran, Josh and Ginger will serve 2-year terms and help support VL as we adopt our new 3-year strategic plan and continue to train more leaders to take action on Arizona’s most pressing issues. Congratulations, Koran, Josh and Ginger! We look forward to your leadership.
